I liked the location of the hotel. It had some very nice rooms. My daughter was there to get married. The theme rooms were great. It was comfortable and the staff was there to serve the needs of the bride. Very nice. Close to all types of activity. I would recommend the hotel.
I did not like the fact that the rooms with two queen beds on the ground floor did not have air conditioning or refrigerator, no hair dryer or vents in the bathroom. If we stayed there again I would stay in one of the theme rooms. Also we chose the hotel because it had a pool. It was after 4th of July, We had teenagers in the group looking forward to it. It was not prepared for summer.

The location and value were the best, staff was flexible, responsive and friendly.
Coffee makers, hair dryers and extra pillows should be standard in any hotel room, even inexpensive ones. I was disappointed that upon arrival the office was closed and there was no way to get extra pillows.

The location was good. The room was clean.
The room I had didn't have air condtioner, no refrigerator and the swimming pool was full of tires. The reason I booked this hotel was so my daughter would have something to do as she is too young to gamble. My sister stayed in a "theme room" and hers was nice, had a/c, big tub and the refrigerator and was decorated very cute. The wedding chapel was cute and the garden area by the chapel was very nice also.

They called it a marie antoinette theme but as far as I could tell it was just cheap and old.

The location was great, close to downtown (walking distance to everything that we needed). The staff was friendly and informative.
The lack of Air Conditioning in the room made the room stuffy and opening the door and window allowed bugs to join us. The continental breakfast could use a little more variety (coffee and donuts get old after the first day).

We had no landline telephone and the wifi did not work.

Great location
The pictures of the Tahoe Chalet Inn weren't really accurate - be aware that the hotel rooms are very old and out-dated. Also, we had problems with the water temperature in the stall shower.

Can't think of anything I liked.
Tired rooms, limited parking since snow not removed from storms 2 weeks ago. Worst of all - a drunken violent tirade in neighboring room at 2 in the morning which management ignored. Continental breakfast was a joke. Front desk personnel unprofessional. This was my worst motel experience in a long time, and I'm not that picky..

It was close to the casinos, restaurants, and shopping. The pillows are awesome. It was a little loud as far as hearing all of the other guests walking around.
No hair dryer, I was banking on it. It was not a good hair day for me the next day. LOL

It was satisfactory for a place to sleep and shower. The price was great and on these facts, we would stay there again.
The furniture was old and uncomfortable. The bathroom linens were sometimes stained to the point that I would not use them. they should have been recycled to the "rag bag".

We liked that the heater worked well because it was so cold outside!
The old receptionist was pretty rude and seemed inconvienved to check us in. She also had no sense of humor.

The water was hot, the heat worked well, the staff was helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was pet friendly. Also, the location was right on the border between CA and NV, so it was easy to get to places to play in the snow and to gamble.
The internet connection was weak and they charge $15 per pet, per night, which is excessive. I understand having a pet deposit in case the pet does make a mess, but how is it okay to charge extra for dogs but not kids (who often make more of a mess)?
